Attention PayPal customers

Hello, everyone-

This post is to update you all on a change coming to the Shop soon.

This morning, August 30, 2024, I received an email from Square, which is the service I use to host the online Shop portion of my website, that they will be removing PayPal as a payment option from all Square Online sites, including mine, starting on October 28.

Square stated this change is “part of [their] ongoing efforts to enhance the performance and reliability of Square Online.”

What does this mean for you?

Currently I offer PayPal as a payment option on shop.littlepopworkshop.com as many customers requested it when I transitioned from Etsy to my own online store.

With this change, unfortunately those wishing to use PayPal as a payment option for my in-stock items will have to take some extra steps if/until I’m able to find an alternative solution.

This change ONLY applies to those who use PayPal to purchase directly from my website. The change DOES NOT AFFECT custom commissions.

The process I’m outlining below will be in effect immediately even though PayPal will be available on my website until October 28. This information will also be added to my FAQs on my shop site.

What do I do if I want to purchase using PayPal as a payment option?

Those wishing to use PayPal as a payment option for in-stock items available on shop.littlepopworkshop.com will have to do the following:

  1. Contact me directly via my email: littlepopworkshop@gmail.com with the subject line PAYPAL WEBSITE ORDER (you can also use the contact forms on my websites)
  2. Include in the body of the email:
    1. What items you are looking to purchase, including quantities and variations where applicable
    2. Your mailing address, or at minimum, your city, state, country and postal code
    3. The email address attached to your PayPal account

When I receive your email, I will then put together a PayPal invoice and send it to the email address you provide.

ALL OTHER SHOP POLICIES WILL STILL APPLY TO THESE PURCHASES. Shipping prices will still remain the same and sales tax will still be collected on all orders made by Texas buyers.

Thank you for understanding and I’ll keep everyone updated if there are further changes.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me through my social media channels or email if you have any questions!
